Hi Yvonne,
I attended your presentation this week in CPT "Alive with Possibility" and I was COMPLETELY blown away! It was so incredible and was probably the best presentation I have been to in years and you had my full attention the whole time. I came back to my office (DAV Professional Placement Group) and told my colleagues that I would love to sit and have coffee with you - you are truly inspirational Yvonne. I am even doing a mini-presentation on "you" tomorrow in our Company meeting! :-)
Thank you for such a touching message, I am honoured to have attended.
Kind regards, Krystle MacKenzie

My Dear Yvonne
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the electrifying presentation at our recently concluded Africa's International Media Summit. The infor-mation shared was both informative and very useful.
We have gotten so much media coverage as far away as China and Russia. The buzz has been created and it is up to us to make it mean something. We are planning to present the findings at the Heads of States AU meeting in January in Addis and will revert back to you ASAP with more details.
Again, you are a star and continue to let your light shine for mother Africa.
Sincerely, Erieka Bennett www.theafricanmediasummit.com

I came to know Yvonne first and foremost as a client when she was the CEO of the International Marketing Council of South Africa and we worked together on the launch of Brand South Africa – an awesome project for both of us. Yvonne is passionate about everything she does. She is hard-working, driven and focussed on the end objective. She is generous with praise and unfailingly honest, giving negative feedback unflinchingly when it is deserved.
Yvonne is an impressive master of ceremonies and platform speaker. Her past years at the IMC have inspired her with a powerful story to tell about the reality of, and prospects for, both South Africa and Africa and she does this with energy and aplomb. She has a great deal to offer on a range of subjects.

Dear Yvonne,
My sincerest thanks and appreciation to you for your very informative and passionate briefing to the Dutch investors at the breakfast in Johannesburg on the 6th of March. They were extremely impressed with your brief and in particular with the fact that you do not run away from crucial issues affecting investments to South Africa.
Sincerest thanks also from Ambassador Mkhize. She has expressed the wish that we do invite you to visit the Netherlands this year and we will look at an opportune moment for you to adress the corporate world.
Your DVD was absolutely superb
Kindest regards,
Annemarie Ferns Country Manager Netherlands South African Tourism

Dear Yvonne,
On behalf of the delegates and staff of the Imbokodo programme, I thank you for the provocative and insightful conversation you held with the delegates on November 4, 2008. You brought a fresh take on the topic:
What South Africa needs from businesswomen, what businesswomen need from South Africa.
I am especially grateful for the following.
* The amount of time it took to prepare for the event. * Your call to revisit our professional and personal values. * Your challenge to the women to make an individual contribution in their professions.
The women and the Imbokodo programme in its entirety are richer for your contribution.
I am personally grateful for the fresh take you brought to this event as well as the time and effort you lent Imbokodo.
I wish you continued success in both your personal and professional capacities at this year's end. I hope you will consider speaking to the 2009 delegates next year.
With warm regards Phyllis Byars-Ameguide Programme Manager Gordon Institute of Business Science

Yvonne Johnston rates as one of the country’s leading management and change facilitators. She took my small media company’s entire staff complement to new heights of knowledge and self-belief and in a few short hours imbued them with a sense of real confidence in themselves. Yvonne’s technique incorporates Socratic-method group learning interspersed with relevant and meaningful business anecdotes. The Future Group was enriched.

Dear Yvonne,
We have just had the privilege of listening to you talk at the Citadel breakfast and I just wanted to take a minute to say a HUGE "THANK YOU". We have been very spoilt in our company in so far that we have been able to see some of the best speakers in South Africa and also internationally but all 3 of us that were lucky enough to come and see you today agreed that you have by far been the most motivational, positive person we have ever heard speak.
About 2 years ago our company wrote a pledge to South Africa that we regularly read out in our company meetings. Yvonne, South Africa (and Africa) need more people like you – Thank you for sharing your positive message.
Wishing you all the best of luck for your future endeavors!
Kind regards Tanja Koch Regional Executive – Cape Town D•A•V Professional Placement Group

Dear Prof Helena (University of Freestate)
Thank you for the exceptional guest lecturers you invite to our school.
One of your guests has had a major impact on me
Yvonne Johnston
Wow - what a woman! Her lecture was awe-inspiring.
I wanted to speak with her afterwards, but it was such an emotional lecture for me - i had to hide out in the toilet and have a good cry!
How great it is to be a South African and to have the opportunity and privilege to contribute and be part of this process. She made me question, "Am I a good South African? or am I just along for the 'successful ride' that this country provides?"
For me, Yvonne represents true leadership. Extremely brilliant at what she does, with a great dose of passion, heart and humility.
Finally - I want to thank you for your commitment, passion and drive in providing us with what i can honestly say is world class Education - and not just academically.

Jis, what a hit you were! Three VWV people came to me afterwards - and raved! And I know for a fact you blew xxxxxx's socks off from the way he was loudly agreeing with and endorsing everything you said!
Thank-you, Yvonne, so much for putting the time aside and making it all happen so professionally and wittily and 'funnily' as Murray used to say. You are a great speaker and do it with such ease and conviction

I came into work very negative this morning, and not because I woke up feeling the part but just purely because that's the kind of emotion that's evoked once I walk into this particular office.
The first thing I had to do was edit a leadership programme that had aired the previous night and prepare it to be uploaded as part of the content on our website, …….and that's when I met you.
I must say Ms Johnston, and I am sure you hear this all the time, 'you are such an inspiration'. Your entire interview captivated me, your outlook on where we stand as a country, as a nation and where we can still go. The challenges that lie ahead of us you easily brushed off as mere hurdles that can be easily overcome, but I think most of all what really got me was the manner in which you lead, you seem to have this ability to extract rich rewards out of your team and co-workers, while keeping the balance between performance and happiness, a feat that most organizations can only dream about.
I just wanted to applaud you on your own personal achievements, being the CEO of IMC, and also on the ripple effect that you have on those people that get to experience you in some way or the other, be it momentarily. I really wish you all the best in future endeavors and with the positive outlook you have, I know South Africa is in good hands for 2010 and beyond.
Best Wishes,Nnete Mabitsela KuduClub.com Digitizer M-net ***
